Police Chief

The Town of Twisp is seeking to hire a new Police Chief to lead a new public safety team in Twisp.  Previous requirements and compensation for the Police Chief position have been updated as of March 20, 2024, and the Town of Twisp is now seeking qualified applicants through a closing date of April 19, 2024.

Salary Range- - $83,200 - $116,480 full-time/non-exempt position

Lifeguard position

THE TOWN OF Twisp is seeking part-time seasonal Lifeguards for the Ernst O. Wagner Memorial Swimming Pool for the 2024 summer season. Applicants must be at least 15 years old by the end of lifeguard training in late May/early June, strong swimmers and able to obtain any Certification Training required; this training will be provided by the Town. A background check is also required. Wage starts at $16.00/hr. DOE. There are a limited number of positions available, and the application process will be closed when positions are filled. Volunteer Positions

Creative District

The Town of Twisp seeks volunteers interested in contributing to the vibrancy of the town’s officially designated Twisp Creative District. Several Creative District Board positions are available:

  • 2 Positions for Twisp Residents (anyone who lives within Twisp Town Limits),
  • 1 Arts Organization member (whose physical office is within the district), and
  • 1 business member (business must be within the district). 
 First review of applications will take place 3/15/24

Board of Adjustments
“The Town of Twisp has a need for volunteers on its Board of Adjustments. Board members will make decisions on applications for variances, conditional use permits, and nonconforming use or structure variances, in each case considering the impacts of the proposed use or alteration.

  • 3 Three-Year Positions for Twisp Residents (anyone who lives within Twisp Town Limits)
  • 2 Two-Year Positions for Twisp Residents (anyone who lives within Twisp Town Limits)
